Make friends not customers

The inspiring article “Treat your readers like children” written by@TheInfoPreneur just remembered me that I had a related idea some weeks ago for a presentation. I tried to explain that the marketing should generate fans and friends, not only customers and defined following factors for success. Let’s make it public to inspire your work:

  1. Authenticity: Nobody is perfect. This knows you customers very well.
  2. Partnership: Communicate honest and eye to eye
  3. Appreciation: Paying great attention to your customers
  4. Patience: Real friendship is not build over night
  5. Commitment: Don’t delegate, you must do it yourself
  6. Confidence: You have to let go and be confident that you and you customers can be successful together.
  7. Vitality: Trying something new keep the partnership going and open up new unexpected possibilities
